Vein Reduction
Unfortunately for many women, for many reasons, unsightly superficial
veins we commonly refer to as “spider veins” have developed
on the lower legs. Some of the deeper veins can also be treated (does
not include varicose veins) depending on the patient’s medical
history and the veins in question. How Is The Procedure
Done?
A solution is injected with a fine guage needle into the offending
blood vessel. Over a period of time, the vessel shrinks and becomes
less apparent. How Long Does It Take?
Usually the session is no more than 30 or 40 minutes, but two or three
sessions are sometimes required, depending on the extent of your problem
veins. How Well Does It Work?
Usually you can expect a 60 – 80% improvement, although it may
take several weeks before the maximum results are evident.
