Joyce Black, R.N., C.S.P.N.

Joyce black is Registered Nurse with certification in the field of Plastic Surgery and has been active in this area for over 30 years.  Ms. Black has dedicated the last 15 years emphasizing the role as a Skin Care Specialist and Nurse Injector at the Aesthetic Skin Care Center under the direct supervision of Dr. James H. Carraway of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center of EVMS.  This role includes the application of light and medium depth peel solutions, microdermabrasion, injection of fillers (Restylane/Juvederm), Botulinum injections (Dysport/Botox), micropigmentation, sclerotherapy, Co2 fractional laser resurfacing and IPL light therapy. 

 

Ms. Black’s knowledge of skin care products and her guiding hand in aiding her patients through the rejuvenation ladder has enabled a trusting relationship between herself and her patients.
